5STAR GENERAL Records ("5STAR GENERAL," "we," "us," or "our") operates 5stargeneralrecords.com and its associated playlists, artist pages, and community channels. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors and how we use it.

We collect information in a few limited ways:

Newsletter signup. When you subscribe via the form on this site, we collect your email address and store it to send you playlist updates, release announcements, and label news.

Automatic data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may automatically log standard technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, to help us understand traffic and keep the site secure.

Third-party platforms. Links to Spotify, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Discord take you to those platforms directly. We don't receive any personal data from those services just because you clicked a link. Their own privacy policies govern what happens once you're there.

We use your email address solely to send the communications you signed up for: playlist launches, new releases, and community updates. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Subscriber data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) using industry-standard security practices, including row-level access controls. We take reasonable steps to protect your information but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out of our mailing list at any time, or email us directly to request that your data be deleted.

Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the site and label grow. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
